In the North Woods, Porky feels inadequate among all the tall lumberjacks. After Porky "protects" Petunia in a fixed fight, the lumberjacks take advantage of his swagger to send him up the mountain to blow up a hollow with hundreds of hoot owls. Unfortunately Porky gets captured by Hoot Howl Hattie, the witch that protects the owls.

Porky invents a spot remover and uses it on the dress Petunia is going to wear for her piccolo recital. Later he discovers the spot remover keeps working until the cloth is in tatters. He takes a spray gun of neutralizer to spray Petunia's dress before it disintegrates.
