The Cave Kids capture a Spotted-Spotted Plumpasaurus to donate to the zoo, then discover that the extra spots are paint from a man painting acorns yellow. The man locks them in a cave, but they are rescued by Rocky Ranger, a masked hero. The acorn painter is trying to swindle some real estate investors into buying his "lemon orchard". The Cave Kids reveal the truth, then use their reward money to buy a water fountain for the zoo.
