This story was produced by Funnies, Inc. [the Jacquet Shop] during the time of Bill Everett's transition of leaving the Sub-Mariner strip. As a result, artists like Carl Pfeufer emulated much of Everett's style (as per Jerry Bails, September 10, 2004).

Story originally credited to Stan Lee. Al Plastino art per Bob Hughes (13 December 2013). Credit from Jerry Bails' Who's Who and comparison of the art with other credited work. Syd Shores and Al Gabrielle art by original indexer, Veracity (1 June 2015), based on examination of the artwork within the issue, and atlastales.com. Veracity contends it is probably Plastino's work in the next issue's story, but not this one.
