Runaways [Nico Minoru; Gertrude Yorkes; Chase Stein; Karolina Dean; Molly Hayes; Victor Mancha (joins); Old Lace]; Ultron; Excelsior [Phil Urich [Green Goblin]; Lightspeed [Julie Power]; Ricochet [Johnny Gallo]; Turbo [Michiko "Mickey" Musashi]; Darkhawk [Chris Powell]; Chamber [Alex Wilder]]; Rick Jones; Marianella Mancha (flashback); Avengers [Hank Pym; Hawkeye; Wonder Man; Iron Man](in cameo flashback)
Ultron takes his son, Victor, on a mental tour of his origins, showing him how he was created as a robot/human hybrid. When Nico reminds him that Ultron has just killed his mother, Victor is able to break his programming and help the Runaways battle dear old dad. Excelsior shows up to lend a hand and Darkhawk puts an end to Ultron. Excelsior's mysterious benefactor, Rick Jones, reveals himself and asks them to continue as a team. Chamber lets the Runaways escape but leaves Excelsior as he isn't really Chamber--he is Pride member Alex Wilder in disguise. Victor joins the Runaways.
