First Line: Excellent! Excellent! These films are most impressive...
Synopsis: HYDRA hires the services of Bulls-eye, a paid assassin, to kill Nick Fury. Fury and Laura attend a concert by Country Joe and The Fish in Central Park when Bulls-eye strikes apparently assassinating Nick Fury in full view of horrified onlookers. Abruptly, Hydra leader Number 72 decides this would be the moment SHIELD would expect HYDRA to strike and changes his plans for an attack. Instead, SHIELD converges on Central Park and corners Bulls-eye, who decides to shoot it out with them but Dugan kills him.

Bulls-eye's only appearance; not related to the Marv Wolfman villain from Daredevil (Marvel, 1964 series) #131 (March 1976). Following Number 72's instructions, Bulls-eye inexplicably wastes energy running all over NYC following Fury, even though he knew in advance where his target would be later in the day. Equally baffling is his wearing a brightly-colored costume while trying to escape from the scene of a murder. Last original issue of the series. Nick Fury turns up alive two months later in The Avengers (Marvel, 1963 series) #72 (January 1970).
