The Writer info comes from the book "Roy Rogers: a biography, radio history, television career chronicle ..." by Robert W. Phillips.

The artist Ray Thayer had most of the Chuckwagon Charley's Tales. In Jerry Bails' Who's Who, he is credited to Zane Grey FC#449 Tappan's Burro. Using that as a start, it is easy to pick out the rest of his work in the 50's, and this is one.
