Richie Rich; Gloria Glad; adult male kidnapper; Lulu; Sonny; Richard Rich, Sr. (mentioned); ghosts
What a terrible baby-sitter I turned out to be! I lose the kid I’m minding and get locked in some spooky uninhabited house! Sob!
Richie and Gloria are locked in a room inside a haunted house, which was used by the crooks to lure the kids into a kidnapping. The "boy" was actually a dwarf crook - in fact, he is the husband of Lulu. With the thugs unaware that they are in Richie's playhouse, Richie uses technology to scare the crooks away by creating ghostly voices. Little do Richie and Gloria know that there actually are live ghosts inside the house who scared the thugs away and fled on foot - only to run into the police who were in their path.
