Irona is suffering from transistor fatigue, so another robot named Robusta substitutes for her. Robusta is strong, but not very intelligent. Mrs. Rich asks her to meet Mr. Bricabrac, an interior decorator, at the door and to be helpful to him in any way possible. He considers much of the Rich's decorative taste tacky, and comments that he would like to throw away many of the decorations he sees. Wanting to be helpful to him, Robusta starts tossing things out the windows and she rips out a stairway that he doesn't like.

Richie Rich
Richie Rich; Gaylord Bricabrac; Robusta; Irona; Regina Rich
Seeing that Mr. Bricabrac, with Robusta's help, is redecorating the Rich estate to "look like an airport waiting room", Richie gets Irona's help. Insulted by comments regarding his artistic choices, Bricabrac storms off, which Richie knows will upset his mother. Irona convinces him to come back and then begins putting everything back the way it was, with the decorator approving of all "his" artistic choices. Richie's mother returns and really just wants Bricabrac's advice on where to hang a portrait of Richie.
