But Harry tells her their romance was just for “kicks” and Joe says he’s no longer interested because she cheated on him, so she goes home in disgrace.

Margaret works as a translator for an export company and dreams of a romantic Latin lover. Her boss asks her to entertain visiting Carlos Rodriquez, an important customer. They hit it off and Margaret thinks he’s going to propose marriage to her, but he just wants to hire her as his secretary (and possibly mistress). Margaret brushes him off and is fired as a result. However, fellow worker Eddie also quits his job and says Margaret can accompany him to South America—as his wife.
