Hello! Yep, it’s me—Dan Cupid again!
Hollywood script girl Susie is courted by assistant director Frank and by “small time actor…small time man!” Monty. Monty and Frank get into an argument on the set and Frank defeats him, but Susie calls Frank “a cruel, savage killer!” and quits her job. Monty challenges Frank to a boxing match at the studio party that night, and Dan Cupid convinces Frank to accept, thinking Susie will come back to Frank if Monty thrashes him. However, Frank is winning until Dan steps in: Frank loses and he and Susie reconcile.

Aspiring actress Mary takes lessons from Randall, a friend of her father. Aunt Mike fears the middle-aged Randall is falling in love with Mary, although she’s dating singer Vic. When Vic urges Mary to take a job in gangster Condon’s nightclub, Randall objects. He admits he loves Mary but knows he’s too old for her; when Condon threatens Randall, Vic defends him. Mary and Vic reconcile and marry. She becomes a Broadway star and Vic’s singing career also takes off.

Catharine Carter, famed advice to the lovelorn editor, is a hard-headed business woman
Catharine Carter responds to a letter from stewardess Jane. Jane says she and pilot Bruce were in love and intended to wed, but he suddenly resigned his job, broke their engagement, and vanished. Miss Carter is on one of Jane’s flights when their airplane makes a crash landing in a remote area. Coincidentally, they’re rescued by Bruce, who moved to the desert because he has tuberculosis. Jane and Bruce are reunited.
