First Line:
To the office of Ray Mann, Human Relations Counselor of Love Diary magazine, there comes daily a stream of unhappy, confused people
Synopsis:
Leona is raised by her aunt and uncle. Aunt Mary constantly complains about her husband’s lack of money and urges Leona to demand her future husband provide better for her. Leona falls in love with Bob but insists they buy expensive furniture and live in a fancy apartment building after they’re married. Bob thinks she’s a gold-digger and they break up. Leona asks Ray Mann if her Aunt Mary is right, or if Bob’s attitude is correct. Ray proposes that Love Diary readers solve Leona’s problem by writing letters.
