Tony Martin gets Tina a job as singer Ricky’s arranger. Ricky is abrasive and secretive, confiding only in his accompanist Jerry. Tina discovers Ricky just lip-syncs, and Jerry does the actual singing. Jerry explains to Tina that he has terrible stage fright and can’t sing in public. Tina goes to Tony Martin for help: on Ricky’s next show, the cameras suddenly focus on Jerry and Tina urges him to sing to her. His stage fright is cured. Jerry now has a new career and will marry Tina.
