The Legionnaires track down the person who ordered the assassination attempt on R. J. Brande before Kid Quantum's funeral. At the funeral, XS saves everyone from a bomb in the coffin. Elsewhere, blaming someone named McCauley for the deaths of all the of the other people on his homeworld of Angtu, Mano obliterates his dead planet.
