Synopsis:
Sally is mistreated as a child by her stepmother, and is extremely possessive as a young adult. Sally falls in love with baseball pitcher Jock, but is irritated by the constant presence of his catcher and friend Sam. When Sally refuses to let Jock’s little sister Maggie play with her childhood doll, Sam calls her selfish. Sally makes Jock think Sam made advances to her, but when this causes Jock’s career to falter, she confesses and Jock dumps her. However, learning Jock’s sister is ill, Sally takes the doll to her in the hospital. Jock decides Sally has changed and they are reunited.
