GOOD BIT: Among the many library books with gag or creator-referential titles, as seen on page seven, are: books of "Barks", "Gottfredson", "Jippes", "Nadorp", "Paintings by Daigle", "Gladstones and Gemstones" (one former and one present [at the time] American Disney comics publisher), "Rhyme Scheming by Bucky Bug", "Lancelot's Missing Links" (a reference to Saturday morning TV show Lancelot Link Secret Chimp), and too many more to clearly discern without a good magnifying glass.
This story is highlighted by much great dialogue by David Gerstein, perfectly fitting the "wacky-but-Barks-like" look and feel of the story.
