Of all our travels, Uncle Buck, this has to be the gloomiest country ever!
Touring an unnamed small kingdom, Bugs and Uncle Buckskin notice how gloomy the subjects are. The Bunny introduces a temporary bout of laughter in the form of a epic pie fight, with even good King Kimo enthusiastically getting into the act. On the receiving end of most of the pies is the disliked (and aptly named) Baron Rotzi, who is secretly responsible for the general gloominess that has beset the land by luring all the fish (the lifeblood of the people) away from the kingdom. The suspicious rabbits uncover Rotzi's plot, bringing prosperity and laughter to the kingdom once again.

To remedy the situation - and get himself off the hook for the bad advice he gave Elmer - Bugs starts a rumor of a hidden fortune somewhere in the hotel. This story, referring to the "Bates Hotel" (not "Bates Motel"), was originally published in 1958, two years before the release of Alfred Hitchcock's "Psycho" (1960). Perhaps the author read the novel upon which the film was based.
