Marion; Steve Bronson; Ginny; Art Gates
Marion is engaged to Steve Bronson, but he confesses to being an ex-convict. Although he’s turned his life around, Marion breaks up with him and moves to the big city. After her mother’s death, Marion comes home and discovers Steve is dating her younger sister Ginny. Marion tries to undermine this romance. When Steve is arrested for robbery, Marion at first refuses to give him an alibi, but changes her mind when she sees Ginny really loves him. Marion settles for high school boyfriend Art Gates.

Lynn Dancer; Buck Dancer; Carol Deane; Ted Brent
Elementary schoolteacher Lynn Dancer supports her elderly, invalid father on her salary. Ted Brent offers to buy the family home and turn into a dude ranch. Lynn refuses but her father agrees. Lynn falls in love with Ted but is still not happy about the conversion of her home into a resort. She becomes jealous of guest Carol Deane and Ted. Eventually, she decides to participate in the dude ranch activities and learns Ted loves her as well.
