Rudolph Gerard; Andrew Campbell; Elizabeth Coulton; Rocky
Art shop owner Rudolph asks his assistant Elizabeth to convince Andrew to paint copies of “old masters” paintings. Elizabeth dates Andrew and he agrees to produce the copies so he can afford to marry her. Elizabeth falls in love with Andrew and learns Rudolph is having someone else forge signatures so the copies can be sold as originals. She tricks Rudolph into staging a one-man show for Andrew and reveals the copies there, foiling Rudolph’s plan. Andrew’s real paintings are a success and now he can marry Elizabeth.

Jane attends a party thrown by wealthy Ron, attended by “quite a few fellows and girls with bad reputations.” She keeps her relationship with Ron a secret from her longtime boyfriend Bud, who starts dating Lucy instead. Jane discovers Ron isn’t really interested in her because she’s not wild. She spots Bud at one of Ron’s parties: their mutual friend Bruce invited him so Bud and Jane would realise that they didn't belong with that crowd. Bud and Jane reconcile.
