Synopsis: Spider-Man is once again broke and accepts an offer from movie director Daniel Miller: Spider-Man is to play a spider monster. Special effects guy Klemmer is furious when his costumes are rejected. A few days later, the movie shoot is sabotaged by the Spider-Squad, three villains wearing Klemmer's spider costumes. Tracking the villains to a farm, Spider-Man barely escapes an explosion rigged by Anton DeLionatus – the producer of the movie! Klemmer is proven innocent, the producer has staged the sabotage in order to cash in on the insurance.

Synopsis: Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson are enjoying a cup of coffee at their favorite café when an armed robber appears. Troubadour Paul Cassidy bravely intervenes, but is taken hostage by the robber. Peter changes into Spider-Man and takes up the pursuit. The robber is revealed to be Paul's manager Hank, who has staged the robbery in order to create more publicity for Paul. Spider-Man apprehends the two culprits, but once he has changed back into Peter, Mary Jane is furious at him for having left her alone for so long...
