Story #4. Faithful adaptation of Ian Fleming's 4th 007 novel from 1956. Although very little of the novel would turn up in the 1971 film, the crooked horse-racing sequence did inspire a similar sub-plot in the 1985 film, A View to a Kill.

James Bond 007
James Bond; M; Bill Tanner (Chief of Staff); Dr. No (villain); Quarrel (from Live and Let Die); Felix Leiter; Honeychile Rider
After nearly getting killed at the end of his previous job, Bond gets the "routine" assignment of checking up on bird-guano manufacturer "Dr. No" in connection with the disappearance of 2 agents in Jamaica. It turns out to be more than anyone expected, as the man's private island is like a fortress, and "No" is involved in twisted psychological and scientific experiments, the latter of which could endager the safety of the free world!

Story #6. Faithful adaptation of Ian Fleming's 6th 007 novel from 1958 (which was loosely based on a screenplay for an unproduced film project). Unlike the 1962 film version, which reveals what No is up to BEFORE Bond ever leaves England, the novel and comic maintain the mystery until about 3/4ths of the way into the story.
