Faithful adaptation of the 1989 film, LICENCE TO KILL. Perhaps due to Hollywood's antsiness about the use of actor likenesses without proper licensing fees, the art, although clearly created with the aid of extensive photo-reference material, somehow manages to avoid any EXACT likenesses of Timothy Dalton (though most of the other characters are at least recognizable), with the exception of several panels which are accurate. And in several panels the likeness of Sean Connery is used instead for Bond. The screenplay is adapted from two Ian Fleming sources: the novel Live and Let Die and the short story The Hildebrand Rarity (originally published in For Your Eyes Only).
