Other appearances of Tygra may refer to her as Tygraa, and to Commando D as Captain 3D. There are a few features for Cat-Men or Cat Men that pre-date this story and may have been inspirations for Bill Black's original content here. Dedicated to Simon and Kirby.

First and second pages after first story. While this includes signed art from Bill Black, it's unlikely this entire sequence is wholly original script from Bill Black. Boys' Ranch was a six-issue series by Simon and Kirby for Harvey Comics in 1950. Black may be incorporating copy that clearly promotes reading that material. For a possible source, see the inside front cover of Boys' Ranch #1 (Harvey, 1950 series) (October 1950) indexed as, "Inside front cover provides a biography of Simon and Kirby with a photo of the two".
