He meets Solitaire, who's forced to use her psychic ability to help Big, until Bond helps her escape. Down in Florida, Bond discovers Big is smuggling gold via rare and "dangerous" fish, but Felix is almost killed when he's dumped into a shark tank. In Jamaica, Bond catches up with Big, but he & Solitaire are almost killed by being dragged behind Big's yacht over a shark-infested reef.

Notes:
Story #2. Faithful (if severely "toned-down") adaptation of Ian Fleming's 2nd 007 novel from 1954. The 1973 film used so little of the novel, much of it turned up in later films, including: the keel-hauling scene in FOR YOUR EYES ONLY (1981); the kidnap & mauling of Felix, and the fight at the fish warehouse in LICENCE TO KILL (1989). LIVE AND LET DIE was, oddly, the shortest strip adaptation of any of Fleming's novels.
