Synopsis:
Jonathan and Martha Kent see the new electric-Superman on TV, and then review their memories of Superman and the events in his life. At the end of that review, Superman appears to them for the first time in his new form, but reassures them that he hasn't otherwise changed.

Free with Mattel "poseable figure" of Superman, J2010-0780. Reprints Superman: Man of Tomorrow (DC, 1995 series) #9 (Fall 1997). Edition is identical to original except for Mattel ad on back cover which is dated 2005, the updated DC logo is used on the cover in place of the original, and though the indicia contains the original's date (1997), it has updated information for the list of VPs. The ad on the back cover is copyright 2005. The indicia also says "This publication has been prepared for Mattel, Inc."
