The characters of Billie and Lance Corporal Wilks were originally Newt and Dwyane Hicks in the original printing. After the Aliens3 movie invalidated this storyline, Dark Horse changed the names of these characters in later printings to avoid confusion. In the opening pages of this reprinting they are referred to as Newt and Hicks but later in the story the names are changed to Billie and Wilks. That may be corrected in later printings of this volume. This story is set many years after the movie Aliens, as the character of Newt/Billie is now an adult.
