Dolorous music wails an accompaniment to voices husky with emotion...
Synopsis:
Three hungry ex-convicts are instructed to sing sad, wailing songs by The Fiddler. It is his contention that a man's most vulnerable spot is his sentimentality. Emory Tidwell, spying Stuff all mussed up from a scrap with some kids, gives him fifty dollars to buy new clothes and food. Stuff tries to explain, but hears a mournful vocalizing, so he goes over to donate the fifty dollars to the singers, only to find The Fiddler and his gang about to put a plan into operation.
