On the way to the grocery store, Herbie notices a blind man walking along the street.....a man he had never seen before in the neighborhood. Giving the man 10 cents, he continued to observe the man, who weirdly tapped his cane in a very odd manner while standing in front of the National Bank, so he reported this to a Policeman in the area. This clue of the tapping cane, they soon discovered, was a code to the blind man's fellow bank robbers, who soon hit the bank. Herbie's fast thinking led to their capture.
