Synopsis: With the Surfer in the service of Galactus once again, the Kree try to trick him into leading his master to the Shi'ar homeworld and eliminating their enemies. The Surfer confronts Lilandra and Gladiator and tells them the bad news that Galactus is on his way. When Galactus arrives, however, he finds that the Surfer, Starjammers, Avengers and Fantastic Four are prepared to oppose him one final time.

Synopsis: Galactus preparing to end all life on the Shi'ar homeworld, the Surfer & his allies try to devise a plan to bring him down. With the heroes only able to score minor victories against a weakened Galactus, he prepares to suck up their life force to feed his hunger. The Surfer subverts Galactus' world ship to his will & fires on his master, bringing Galactus down. As he's dying, Galactus tells Surfer that he picked him as a herald because he knew that the Surfer would one day have the strength to end his life. He warns of a greater danger lurking in the cosmos waiting to strike. Galactus dies.
