Synopsis: A new Crisis has begun as Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman meet at the Watchtower's remains to disband the JLA over recent events involving the three heroes. Meanwhile, the villains strike at the Freedom Fighters in Washington, D.C. destroying this team incarnation. In the Limbo dimension, the Old Multiverse's Earth-2 Superman looks on as he sees events going on, and breaks through the barrier separating Limbo from the single universe to help out.

Synopsis: The Old Multiverse's Earth-2 Superman visits Batman in the Batcave, and explains to him what's going on, as he goes through the Old Multiverse's history with him, and Alex's plan to restore the original multiverse. The Spectre continues his war on magic as he destroys Atlantis while the villains are fighting underwater vs. Aquaman's forces. As the Amazons fight the OMACs on Themyscira, a solution is reached to leave Man's World in order to save their dwindling forces leaving Wonder Woman alone.

Synopsis: Alex's plans to restore the original multiverse are almost completed as he recreates the Monitor's tuning fork using the dead Anti-Monitor's armor as part of it. He also uses certain heroes as part of the tuning fork, since they have inside of them the unique pre-Crisis vibrational frequencies of the original five surviving earths (1,2,4,S,X), as others have possible frequencies of other earths that either existed (6), or would have (8) if the original Crisis hadn't happened.

Synopsis: Alex succeeds in his plan to restore the old multiverse, and most of Earth's heroes are sent to a version of Earth-2, albeit uninhabited, while others are sent to their respective Earths that once existed pre-Crisis in the same condition as Earth-2. As both Supermen fight each other on Earth-2, due to the older Superman blaming the younger one for his wife's death, the pre-Crisis Wonder Woman contacts Diana and warns her to stop the fight as she begins to fade from existence due to her godly powers post-Crisis waning.

Synopsis: As the chaos of the old multiverse being restored continues, Alex decides he wants to create the 'perfect' Earth, one without a Superman, merging various earths in the process, and as failures, destroying them as well. The heroes stop him, but at a cost, as Superboy destroys the tower that was allowing for the earths to appear while battling vs. Superboy-Prime, freeing the captured heroes and villain to join in the fight. The magical heroes also fail to summon the Spectre to aid them, given he has no human host to appeal to.

Synopsis: The Supermen drive Superboy Prime through a red sun, and as his powers begin to ebb, he uses the last of his super-strength to kill the older Superman. He is then subdued by the younger version, and the Green Lantern Corps imprison him on Oa in a special sciencell containing a mini red sun, but he vows he will escape, like he did the Speed Force before. In an epilogue, Alexander Luthor Jr. vows he will return to recreate the new multiverse in his image of a single 'perfect' universe, but is killed by the Joker.
