The face of Diana on page 5 and Argus on page 6, and the many profiles with flat noses are all very much like the Battefiled-credited story in Super Mystery Comics (Ace Magazines, 1940 series) #7 and his Buck Jones stories in Master Comics (Fawcett, 1940 series) #6-10. Also Mystery Comics (Pines, 1944 series) #4. Very probably his work.

DeLay can be recognized by the "slow" movement of the rather short figures. Also faces and the layout style more like old book illustrations.

Jerry Bails' Who's Who has GAM as George Marko, others suspect GAM was George Mandel, but artwork is similar to Captain Grim story in this issue which is signed just AM, for Alan Mandel. Current guess is that GAM is George and Alan Mandel, probably with George Mandel as the writer since he had been wounded during WWII.
