Black Ace gets himself recruited for a shady job on a submarine, which, he later discovers, involves sinking American tankers. When the sub surfaces it is torpedoed and sinks to the bottom. Black Ace keeps up the morale of the crew, having them breathe shallowly, until a rescue crew arrives.

Boy! - Find Chic Carter...
Chic is sent to Mongolia to investigate the disappearance of noted millionaire explorer Dennis Courtney. Reaching Shanghai, he contracts a local pilot to fly him to his destination, but they are fired upon by Japanese gunners and forced to land in a small village. The pair are captured by Mongol bandits and taken to their camp, where they find the missing Courtney, escape and bring him to safety. Chic and the pilot, Red Branigan, decide to stay in the Orient.

Modern day pirates are attacking ships as they leave New York harbor. Kent sails on board of one as a passenger, when the key stations are taken over by crooks with guns. Donning his costume of invisibiiity he follows the pirates to a submarine and boards just as she dives. In a short while, the men transfer to a schooner docked in a remote bay. Kent cuts the anchor rope, setting the schooner adrift, and rounds up the gang members.
