Synopsis: Eddie is in a church contemplating suicide when he is infected with the alien symbiote Spider-Man brought back from the secret war on Battleworld. Eddie becomes Venom and his quest for vengeance against Spider-Man is facilitated by the fact that the symbiote knows Spider-Man’s secret identity.
