Synopsis:
Inspector Drummond unknowingly puts The Shadow on the trail of Sly Powers' blackmail racket. Limpy investigates, but is cornered by Scotland Yard. He escapes "Just like Superman." The Shadow intercepts Lady Marlowe's payment putting both the police and the mob after him. The showdown is at Powers' home.

Notes:
The art in this issue is totally unlike any previously seen by the indexer in The Shadow (2nd series). Every story page contains eight short and wide panels. Some appear to have been altered. It is the indexer's opinion that this story may have first appeared in first series of The Shadow which was done in landscape format. In support of this is that Inspector Drummond is apparently a regular supporting character. In issue #109 he is a Chief Inspector. This story may have previously been reprinted in issue #64.
