Synopsis: Clay Parkhurst finds out that an outlaw that he used to run with is now a sheriff in a small town, and gets himself arrested. The rest of the group meet Lozen and Goyathly and are asked to ride into Dakota territory and remove whatever obstacle was preventing the buffalo from returning.
