Synopsis:
Europe and the Middle East tremble on the brink of war as tampered gasoline brings transportation to a halt. As Tintin investigates he is first framed and then kidnapped in Khemed, where Müller and Bab El Ehr are spearheading a conspiracy to incite war and seize the country's untapped petroleum. They even kidnap the child prince, who proves to be too much to handle. With help from Captain Haddock, Tintin rescues the prince and exposes the plot.
