Synopsis:
With revolution in the air, King Ben Kalish Ezab sends Abdullah to Marlinspike Hall for his own safety. Tintin and Captain Haddock travel to Khemed, where they are repeatedly kidnapped, and repeatedly escape. They discover that the revolutionaries are being supplied with illegal arms, while the arms dealers are rounding up African pilgrims to Mecca and selling them as slaves. They rescue the imprisoned Africans and summon help, which breaks up the slavery and arms operations, and restores Ben Kalish Ezab to his throne.
