College student Audrey dates Hal and wants to pledge the same sorority her mother had joined. However, Hal's jealous ex Gale tells Audrey to drop Hal or she’ll be voted out. Gale also compels Audrey, as part of her initiation, to not date anyone for a week and not explain why. Gale vamps the befuddled Hal and they get back together, until Hal overhears Gale bragging to Audrey about her scheme. Hal and Audrey are reunited and Audrey gets to stay in the sorority.
