WW 24C
Writer credit confirmed by "The Secret History of Wonder Woman" (Jill Lapore, 2014). Background inker credit by Jerry Bails.

In a rare instance, Queen Hippolyte leaves Paradise Island to aid the Aztecs against the Conquistadores, in 1519 AD. It is noted that this is "long before the birth of Wonder Woman." Hippolyte mentions she is not "permitted" to remain longer, suggesting she was granted permission by the goddesses. She is still renowned amongst modern Aztecs as "the white goddess."
