The human doll can talk, proving it came from humans. Dr. Zaius in infuriated. Taylor soon discovers Dr. Zaius came with armed troops. Under fire, Taylor takes Dr. Zaius hostage and negotiates for the cave to be left untouched so Dr. Cornelius can continue his work there and for his and Nova's safe passage deeper into the Forbidden Zone. Dr. Zaius agrees.
