Synopsis: Brent and Nova head back into the Forbidden Zone where they run into a patrol of gorillas. They are taken prisoner, but Dr. Zira and Dr. Cornelius rescue Brent and Nova by claiming them as diseased specimens. Unfortunately, Zaius and Ursus soon take Brent and Nova away to be used for target practice. Dr. Zira secretly unlocks the prison wagon they are being taken away in. Brent and Nova escape the apes and take refuge in a cave. In the cave they discover the ruins of the Queensborough Plaza. Brent realizes he is on Earth several thousand years in the future.
