Copyright 1939 by R. S. Calender. New material, not a reprint.

A previous indexer credited Calender as writer. Calender was not a writer. He was a co-owner of Western Printing related by marriage to the founder, and he registered copyrights for the company to items the company created (generally through its work-for-hire employees). The premise, a shipwrecked family surviving under primitive conditions, has all the hallmarks of a Du Bois creation. And the date fits the time that Du Bois began working for Lebeck.

This is the final appearance of "The Crusoes" feature in Super Comics. The feature appears next in Crackajack Funnies (Western, 1938 Series) #22 (April 1940).
