Tabu (introduction and origin); witch doctor (introduction); a band of slavers (villains, introduction, death)
In return for rescuing a witch doctor, Tabu is given a "six sense" and amazing powers which he uses to combat evil and injustice in the jungle. He tracks and defeats a group of slave raiders, terrorizing them with his powers and attacks by obedient animals, finally transforming himself into a "tree-vine" and crushing them to death.
