Character(s):
The Heap [Baron Eric von Emmelman] (origin with new details added); Rickie Wood; Ceres [goddess of the soil, introduction); Jupiter (introduction); Mars (war god, introduction); Joe (villain, bank night watchman, Sam's brother-in-law, death); Fingers (villain); Sam (villain, death); Crimp (villain)
Synopsis:
At the Council of the Roman Gods, Jupiter notes that there is jealousy among the council members and advises Ceres that The Heap is her key to the animal kingdom, and, that if she could lure him into her world, she could make him into one of her creatures. If that succeeds, then the Heap could become a force for good on the Earth and thereby undo some of the evil that Mars forments on that plane.
