WW 27 A
Writer credit from "The Secret History of Wonder Woman" (Jill Lapore, 2014); we previously credited William Marston. Background inker credit by Jerry Bails.

Story re-written and re-drawn in Wonder Woman (DC, 1942 series) #211 as "The Maniacs of Mercury," where the villains are male instead of female. The Robot Plane, despite having a propellor, is able to travel into outer space. Queen Celerita gets the idea of enslaving the men of Mercury after hearing a radio show from Earth, "Mary's Easy Existence," where all women gossip, play cards, and spend money, as the men slave to support them and maids do all the housework.

WW27C
Writer credit from "The Secret History of Wonder Woman" (Jill Lapore, 2014); we previously credited William Marston. Background inker credit by Jerry Bails.

Story re-written and re-drawn in Wonder Woman (DC, 1942 series) #210. Although the Robot Plane was able to fly into outer space in the first story in this issue, here it needs to be fitted with a "stratosphere-jet attachment" to do so.
