Synopsis: Lucifer travels to Hell to talk to Duma, a fallen angel, who does not speak. Lucifer confirms his suspicions that the Voiceless Gods from the First World have created a velleity to channel humanity's wishes. Mahu kidnaps Rachel Begai in order to force Lucifer to give him the velleity. Lucifer bests Mahu and takes Rachel back to Lux, his nightclub in Los Angeles. Mazikeen, possessed by the velleity, fails to kill Lucifer.
