This is the story of a little boy who had a big idea...
Bertie Ketchum is excluded from the Greg Sanders Appreciation Society for being too small. He later overhears some crooks taking about searching the carnival grounds for hidden loot, so he sends a telegram to The Vigilante via Greg Sanders, who is due to make a singing appearance there. The crooks put up a false Singing Troubadour in order to get the kids to search for them, but The Vigilante's appearance puts paid to their scheme.
