First Line: Once upon a time an architect built a house for his devoted lap dog, Mr. Cooper.
Synopsis: Holly Crescent lives with her brother, Henry, in a quite vertical house where the twins are home-schooled by their father. At night, a moonbeam strikes Holly and she awakens in Waxing Castle, where she is a princess attended by the foppish Tranquility and a dragon called Chancellor. Holly gets a bit overzealous in defending her territory against the Horrible Horde.
