They search the crashed Acanti ship looking for Bishop but find him gone. Bishop gets the drop on Cable and cuts his throat and then prepares to fulfill his mission to kill Hope.

Cable, recovering from his wound, takes components of Bishop's time machine to repair their own. Once again able to leap back in time, Cable and Hope travel all the way back to 1614, little knowing that Bishop is somehow pulled along with them.
