Hi, Charley! We've got a present for you.
Sheriff Pound brings a kitten for Baby Buster. They become friends. Kitten grows to a tomcat, Tommy Atkins. Mrs Pound brings two orphan kittens home. Tommy is like a father. Blacksmith Jones arrives in town with a cat-killing dog, Tige. Merchants have counterfeit money the bank refuses. Tige lunges for the kittens in the Pounds' yard. Buster protects them. Tommy lands on Tige's back, tight with his claws like a rideo rider. Pound is having handcuffs repaired by Jones. Tige upsets Jones's wagon. Phoney coins spill out. Pound handcuffs Jones. Tige disappears. Tommy is setting pretty.
