An open letter from The Editors about Dr. Wertham's crusade against comics.

In the May 29, 1948 issue of "The Saturday Review of Literature", Fredric Wertham wrote an article condemning comic books and their affects on children (6 years before his book "Seduction of the Innocent").

This article, and the ensuing debate around it, led to this letter from "The Editors Marvel Comic Group" addressing Dr. Wertham's findings. It also led to Jean Thompson's editorial endorsement credit you find in this issue.
